DESCRIPTION
3M Polyurethane Adhesive Sealant 540 is a moisture-curing sealant that forms flexible, weather-resistant bonds. This single-component adhesive bonds dissimilar materials including plastics, sheet molding compound, aluminum, steel, coated metal, and wood in temperatures ranging from 40 °F (40 °C) to 194 °F (90 °C). Polyurethane sealants perform well in challenging industrial, transportation, and construction settings by creating durable elastomeric bonds that seal against the elements. High tensile strength, weather-resistance, and low hardness allow 3M Polyurethane Adhesive Sealant 540 to excel in applications such as exterior panel bonding, retail storefronts, and transportation manufacturing.
