DESCRIPTION
3M™ Scotchlok™ Butt Connector MVU18BCX with built-in wire stop for correct positioning offers easy insertion of wires. This vinyl-insulated, butted-seam barrel provides a secure fit and reliable performance. It supports a wire range of 22-18 AWG. This connector has a butted-seam barrel that is covered by a funnel-designed, rigid-molded, polyvinyl chloride sleeve to guide the cable into position while providing electrical contacts and mechanical stress relief at the point of insulation. The flared, vinyl-sleeve insulation provides easy crimping, the electrolytic copper construction provides good conductivity, and tin plating offers corrosion resistance. This connector can withstand a temperature range of -40 to 221 degrees F (-40 to 105 degrees C).
