3M™ Scotchgard™ multi-layer protective film 1004 is a four-layer, optically transparent, pressure sensitive polyester film can be custom cut to fit glass, polycarbonate or other smooth surfaces subject to frequent damage from scratching, cutting, abrasion, chemical etching and permanent markers. A defaced film layer is easily removed, exposing a fresh protective sheet. 3M™ Scotchgard™ multi-layer protective film 1004 allows you to conveniently remove graffiti or other defacements in seconds to help maintain a good image and feeling of safety. It is recommended for the interior glass windows of public transit vehicles. Additionally, the high clarity film maintains a glass-like appearance yet blocks more than 98% of UV light, protecting plastics and fabric from fading and deterioration. 3M™ Scotchgard™ multi-layer protective film 1004 can be custom cut by 3M™, a local converter or simply hand cut. When the film is custom cut it is easy to install without trimming or waste to deal with. Multi-layer construction reduces total application and removal costs versus single layer protection. Application of the four layer film means great cost savings on both labor and materials. Single layer products may leave behind residue and require additional surface cleaning procedures.
